| Our Story So Far |
Beginning with 12 people in April 1997, we have been inviting people to explore with us questions such as: 'What does it mean to be a Christian?' and 'What does it mean to be church?' Questions that can help us during a time and place when most people have turned their back on their faith, and so many Christians have given up church to practice their faith on their own. Our church community now has some 300 adults and 120 kids involved in its daily life.
So what does the day-to-day life of the church look like? It includes: Sunday meetings, kids work, youth groups, mid-week small groups for spiritual formation, mum and toddler groups, community projects, creative arts team, prayer ministry and international missions. We have a church centre, a small administration team, pastoral staff, trustees and a leadership team to support these ministries and mission. Within and beyond those ministries is a community that shares together the struggle of forming Christian faith in a secular society. Together we are finding confidence and hope in encounters with Jesus, so that we can share our faith in Jesus with our community, work colleagues and friends. |
