Vineyard Church Sutton youth ministry 

At Vineyard Church Sutton we are passionate about seeing young people worshipping God with their lives and showing love and compassion towards others. We believe that the best way to do all this is through genuine relationships, so we spend lots of time hanging out and having fun.

Vineyard Youth mission runs from year 7 with Fusion, and from Year 10 for our Ignite youth.  There is always lots’ going on, with morning services, socials, girl’s night in, lads lounge, Deeper, trips away and much more, so check out the programme page for more information.

Sundays

Fusion Youth AM (Year 7-9) 10.30 AM at Overton Grange.

Fusion Youth AM is a mixture of games, worship, ministry, hanging out and spending time with God. Each week we focus on building positive relationships, looking at the Bible and discussing what Jesus has to say about the way we live our lives. Older youth are welcome in the mornings too, but the event is mainly for those in school years 7-9.

Ignite Youth AM (Years 10 – 13) 10am Weeks 2 and 4 @ Overton Grange

The older youth have an opportunity to hang out together and study the Bible and pray for one another on weeks 2 and 4 during the morning service at Overton Grange. We join the worship in the main service or worship with fusion.  On weeks 1 and 3 Ignite youth are encouraged to serve on a rota or join the main service.

Ignite Youth PM (Years 10 – 13) 7:30pm to 9:30pm Weeks 2, 3 and 4 @ Church Centre

Ignite Youth Service is a place where older youth can gather, worship God, learn about Him and pray for one another. There is plenty of time in the evening for hanging out, chill on the sofa’s, building relationships and eating food!

During the week

Lad’s Lounge (school years 7 to 11)

Lads lounge is a mentoring group for the young men of the youth. We meet one Friday a month and the focus is on fun and building relationships. We regularly go to the park, play Wii games and have marathon Monopoly sessions!!!  Contact Steve for details.

Girls Night In (school years 7 – 11)

Girls Night In is a mentoring group for the young women of the youth. We meet one Friday a month and the focus is on fun and building relationships. We regularly have, cooking, film and pamper evenings and the monster marshmallow filled, whipped cream, hot chocolates are becoming the stuff of legends!!!  Contact Sam for details.

Deeper (Year 11+) – NEW THIS TERM

This is a Youth Small Group on Wednesday’s Week 2 @ Steve and Sam’s for the older Ignite Youth members for those who want to explore Deeper their faith.

Energize (all Youth) – NEW THIS TERM

This will be a regular youth congregation where the youth come together to celebrate and worship together. These will be held on a Sunday AM @ the Church Centre with lots of worship. Keep an eye on the programme of future dates.

Youth Band (All Youth)

Band meets one Friday a month for practice and will lead Fusion in worship on Sunday AM week 4. The band have been doing some recording of their own worship songs and continue to go from strength to strength. Contact Nicky and Paul for more information.

Youth Socials (All Youth)

We are a social bunch and have lots of things going on from film and Pizza nights to ice skating, bowling, ultimate Frisbee, xBox events and much more. Be sure to check out to social programme.  

Events

We like spending time away together and twice a year we get the opportunity with a long weekend in May at Dreaming the Impossible and in August at Soul Survivor. Key an eye out for more information or contact Steven and Sam for details.
